What Do I Wear To Class?

You will need to wear loose clothing and layers so that you can take off items as you get warmer.

What Do I Bring To Class?

Everything you will need is supplied, however you may wish to bring your own mat. A bottle of water is advised to help keep you hydrated during the class.

Do I Need Any Prior Yoga Experience?

No prior yoga experience is necessary. There will always be options for varying skill levels.

I Have A Medical Condition Or Injury. Can I Still Participate In Class?

Yes – provided your doctor feels that you will benefit from yoga. My Slow Yoga Floor Based Stretch class is ideal for people who have minor complaints or issues with their joints.

Is There A Set Class Schedule?

Each class has a theme but there are certain poses that are always included in the class to ensure adequate warming up and flexibility throughout the session.

Are Your Classes Heated?

Yes – I have a log fire which not only heats the room but also adds to the calming ambience.

Where Can I Park My Car?

I have adequate on-site parking.

Are There Any Age Restrictions?

There is no upper limit to the age of participants, however these classes are aimed towards adults. Whilst I do have some teenagers in these classes, they are not suitable for young children. If a children’s class is desired, one can be negotiated.

Virginia’s yoga classes are awesome. I started taking part in chair yoga classes three years ago when arthritis in my hips was preventing me from completing many of my usual forms of exercise. The chair yoga has helped enormously with strength and flexibility and I have now progressed to floor yoga sessions with Virginia. Her classes are thoughtful and personal… and lots of fun. I love my time spent in her studio surrounded by nature and always come away feeling 100% better.
